Experienced Carpenter
Take a remodel from demolition all the way through finish — framing, drywall, trim, and finish carpentry — on high-end homes across West Michigan, alongside a tight crew and PMs who back you up.
What You’ll Do
- Run remodels from demo through framing, drywall, trim, and finish — owning the quality at every stage
- Measure, cut, and install to a high finish standard: plumb, level, square, and clean
- Keep jobsites protected, organized, and safe — especially in occupied, high-end homes
- Communicate clearly with your lead, project managers, and homeowners
- Help train and mentor junior carpenters, sharing your techniques and standards
- Maintain your tools and equipment in good working order

- Experience mentoring or leading other carpenters
Requirements
- Proven carpenter able to run work from demo to finish
- Framing: measure and frame walls, doors, and windows accurately, plumb and square, efficiently
- Drywall & paint: hang, finish, and patch drywall; prime and paint to a clean, defect-free finish
- Trim & finish: moldings, baseboards, cabinets, doors, and hardware with precision and clean caulk lines
- Flooring: LVP, tongue-and-groove, and similar (carpet and tile not required)
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and building codes
- Sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving, friendly can-do attitude
- Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
- Driver’s license, reliable transportation to jobsites, and ability to tow a trailer
- Comfortable reading plans and working from architectural drawings
