In the living room, paneling was stripped from the walls, new flooring was laid throughout, and fresh trim work tied everything together. One of the more personal touches on this project was a hand-crafted walnut storage bench built right into the lower-level entryway, paired with a newly framed wall with blocking for coat hooks. Solarium Rebuild: We demoed the existing flooring, skylights, and cedar panels, then reframed the exterior walls and ceiling, installed new sheathing and siding, and finished the space with built-in cabinetry and a custom walnut live-edge bar top sealed for long-term durability.
Living Room Renovation: We stripped the existing paneling, removed all lower-level carpet and the old fireplace hearth flooring, and finished the space with new baseboard trim, door casing, and a custom floating shelf built into the original brick wall niche.
Custom Entryway Build: We demoed the existing exterior entry slope, framed a new wall with built-in blocking, and crafted and installed a custom walnut storage bench with a clear-coated finish to create a functional, polished entryway.
